Designing For Belonging

Are your processes, procedures and policies designed for belonging and with equity in mind? Despite positive intentions, they might be inadvertently creating outsiders, causing harm or erecting barriers. In this work session, participants bring a process, service, procedure or policy to conduct a review through an equity lens and to begin a thoughtful design of a more inclusive iteration.

• Apply an equity and belonging lens to review a policy, process or procedure

• Outline strategies and an action plan for greater equity and belonging
